Our method
for connecting people to their life's purpose in Christ is twofold . . .
1. Weekly Celebration Services (Sun. 10:30 a.m.) This is our weekly
large group worship time. We encourage you to come and give the Lord your best
as you focus on Him in Praise, Worship and receiving from His Word. As you interact
with God and His people in these ways you will actually be living the desire
of God's heart as you devote yourself to teaching, fellowship and prayer (Acts
2:42-44).
2. LifeGroups Small groups that meet in homes and various places
with the idea of fellowship, learning and outreach for the Lord Jesus Christ.
We currently have six different LifeGroups. Check them out on the LifeGroups
page of this website. More about LifeGroups
· The Holy Bible is the true Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit,
and revealed to man. We believe it is the infallible and authoritative rule
of faith and conduct.
· There is one true God, eternally self-existent and manifested in the
triune Godhead.
· The deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
· The fall of man.
· The salvation of man through faith in Jesus Christ.
· The unconditional Love of God towards all mankind.
· The work of the Holy Spirit in the life of the believer.
· The church and its ministry.
· The orderly exercise of the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
· The resurrection of all believers in Jesus Christ to eternal life in
heaven.
· The eternal separation from God for those who do not know Jesus Christ.
·
Teamwork and a collaborative culture that includes everyone and their unique
gifts and talents.
· Relationships between people and the importance of church structure
to facilitate those relationships.
· The family unit, whether that is a single person or a married couple
. . . with children or without children.
· Children of all ages and the legacy for God they represent.
· Regular reading of the Word of God, both personally and corporately.
· Giving of ourselves and of our resources to God: physically, financially,
emotionally, and spiritually.

What
is a New Testament Church?
The Structure of Grace Connection is different from that of "Traditional"
Churches as most people know it. The distinction of being a true "New Testament
Church" means that we follow the example that Christ himself set in place
when organizing the "Church at Jerusalem", the first church. Several
distinctives appear in the New Testament model of church leadership. The "Principle
of Plurality" is one of these. Even though there are isolated examples
of "solo" apostolic ministry, local church leadership always is presented
as a plural team. Rather than a church's being led by a lone pastor, churches
are led by a "council of elders". It is not what one does in the local
church, but who he is. Ministry is an extension of an individual's personal
life.
